The default

Why closed-loop is the default.

POS auto-credit sounds like a convenience, and on the surface it is: points credit automatically, no staff effort. But automatic loyalty is invisible loyalty. The customer never opens the wallet, never sees the stamp land, never feels the reward approach. The habit never forms, and the program becomes a line item in a POS report instead of a relationship.

The behavioral mechanic we protect is the card-flashing ritual at the counter: customer opens the wallet, barista nods, cashier scans the QR. Three seconds of mutual recognition, every visit. How long does an integration take?

Does integration break if I switch POS later?

No. Closed-loop is the default precisely so the program outlasts your stack choices. Switch POS and the wallet passes in your customers' phones keep working; re-integrating the new POS is the same 24-hour path.
